Exporting client details to Mailchimp is very straightforward. Just follow these steps:
- Go to Tools->Data Export (from the burger menu, top-left)
- Click on the Patient tab
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Export to Excel"
- Login to Mailchimp
- Click on Lists
- Click on the "Add Subscribers" dropdown and then select "Import Subscribers"
- From here you have a couple of options. You can either save the Excel file that you have exported from WriteUpp into .csv format and import that into Mailchimp. Alternatively you can just open the spreadsheet, copy the client data and paste it into the "Copy/Paste from Excel" facility
Each time you want to update your Mailchimp list you can go through this process as Mailchimp automatically de-duplicates your data and will exclude any clients that have clicked on unsubscribe previously.
