How do I charge for DNA's or Cancellations

Many practices have a policy of charging for DNA's (Did Not Attend) or Cancellations within 24 hours the appointment.

If you wish to do this you need to set up a specific appointment status or set of statuses that result in the client be charged even if they don't turn up.

To do this:

  1. Go to Settings->Scheduling and open the Appointment Statuses section at the bottom of the page.
  2. Click on "Create New Appointment Status"
  3. Give the status a name like "Cancelled < 24 hours" and set it up as shown below:

  4. Click on "Save"
  5. As and when a client DNA's and you want to charge them just select this status and the appt will appear on your list of appointments to be invoiced when you raise your next invoice.
