Why can't I select my patient appointment types when booking an appointment?

If you are booking an appointment within the app, and the Type dropdown only contains your non-patient appointments, you won't have selected an active patient:

Once you have selected an active patient, you'll see your patient appointment types within the Type dropdown as default:
